WhatsApp gets new feature to fight Fake News

WhatsApp has gained a new feature designed to stop the spread of Fake News on its network.
It is a search and check system that aims to keep the messenger free from the infamous fake news.

The information is that messages that are routed very frequently and in a short period of time will be automatically signaled with a magnifying glass icon on the side. By clicking on the magnifying glass, the message material is searched and verified on Google.

In addition, the developers created in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) a bot with reliable information about the coronavirus (Covid-19) to prevent fake news about the pandemic.

The counter-fake news feature is now available in the United States, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Ireland, and a few others not yet released.

Update your WhatsApp to find out if the version with this tool is already available.
